I have been reading about poverty over the past few days. I feel so useless when 8 million of people died per year due to poverty, yet I can do nothing to stop this from happening. Even with foreign interventions, there is only little improvement in the Sub-Saharan Africa. The poor have food to eat, but never eat to their fill. They have clean water to drink, but never drink to their fill. They have… …
I have been thinking through about this problem for three hours, yet I cannot think of any approach to solve this problem. Leaving me confused and puzzled, I asked Calista for her opinion. In her opinion, she believes that poverty is only a state of mind. Even though she did some elaboration to it, I am still not sure about it. Then, I begin to think how God can come into the picture.

Perhaps, God allowed all these problems to exist so as to show that humans are in lack. Maybe, I should aim to establish churches in all these third world nations, spreading the ultimate love from God to a wider community. I believe that God is the solution to all these problems. I believe God can fill their hunger and thirst. I believe that God can change the people from the inside out. I believe… …

This aim to plant churches on the third world nations seem to be impossible, but I believe that God can make it happen. This is not ‘mission impossible’, but ‘mission possible’. I want to make it possible!
