Prom was fine. The food is so-so, nothing very special. The service wasn't really good because we almost wanted to self-help. My dress was fine except I really felt super insecure. Make-up is anyhow one, as long as it look presentable. My heels, kill me.

Both good and bad things happen on the same day. One example will be my stupid camera that is put in the wrong setting. It ended memory full after taking less than like 20 shots. At that moment, I really felt like killing myself. But at least there is Shi Yu and Alwina who joyfully borrowed their camera and phone for photo-taking. Thanks gal. Another thing will be that our plan just went . . .

to the 5 cuties: You know what I mean right =p But at least with the help of the rest of the cuties, one of the cuties became the happiest person. =)

Supposedly we didn't want to go for the post-prom but we still went for it somehow. The Q was like super long at first. Well, this is definitely my first time and I totally enjoyed it. Luckily Shi Yu's friend is kind of experienced so we did have fun dancing together at the dance floor. Not only that, made quite a few friends in the process. But the funny thing is that we wore our heels. So it is like super difficult to dance cause our legs were like damn uncomfortable. I want go clubbing again . . . . . . Dancing can at least help me burn some fats. Lol.

Cabbed home and by the time I finished everything is like 5am. Guess what, I had interview at Ngee Ann City today morning at around 10am. Super tired. Then after that went back to Sherilyn's house to collect my things before going to anotyher interview again. You know what, I somehow don't wish to get the job I am applying. Reason is stupid, the kind of dressing is freaking me out. The lady who interviewed me was super professional and I really learned alot through the interview. I tried to be myself, answering her weird question based on first instinct. The most memorable thing is that at the end of the session, she actually taught me about the impression thinggy. (actually I was the one who asked her. lol.) Now, at least I know how to create a super professional image to the future employers.

As for job wise, I just hope that I can get one so that I can have more money. That's all.

All because of my freaking rebounded hair, I haven’t been sleeping well over the past few days. I was so worried that I would screw up my expensive hair just right before the prom. Thank God for Wendy, who open up her place for the girls (including me) for the preparation for prom. I love Wendy!!!! Pohee’s highlighted hair is not as bad as she said, not really that hooligan (just bitchy!) I think the preparation for prom is the most exciting part of my day when I get to see a ‘transformation’ from ‘animals’ to ‘human’. I would say that Wendy has a great talent for hairstyling and whatever ‘bimbotic’ stuff, she did Pohee’s hair on her own (OH MY GOD! IT’S PRETTY LAH!) It’s really nice that Khairiyah’s father came to fetch us to Pan Pacific Hotel, so I save myself some cab fee cabbing from Tampines to city area. Thank God for Khairiyah!!!!
I think the two persons who amazed me the most are Sheryl and Calista. Sheryl looks totally like a rocker, or maybe not, Wendy thinks she looks more like Rihanna! Calista is so cute with her white dress, I never seen her in a dress before! So shocking! Phoebe was so pretty at prom, I almost couldn’t recognize her (even she stood just right in front of me!)
Basically, the food sucks! The starter was nice with baby octopus, but soon came the soup which was so awful!!! I didn’t enjoy the meal at all, all the food are kind of ordinary. The mutton soup was the ‘ultimate’ food of the day! (Gross!)
Lots of photo taking and stuff occur even before the prom end officially. I left kind of early with Pohee, Queennie and Phoebe to Supperclub! The stupid security guard keep leading us to the wrong entrance of the club, making us climbing the spiral steps up and down. Freaking guard who don’t do his job well! But I glad that I did see some gentlemen guys out here from the college (which we don’t think the college has a lot) who did show their upmost patient when a bunch of girls with high heels trying not to roll down the narrow and cramp spiral steps.
Clubbing is so fun. I could finally understand why some people like it so much. Basically, dancing at the dance floor is really so much entertaining than chilling out with a couple of drinks. Oh my god! I’m totally in love with it.

No drama for me until camp so please do not tempt me into watching any nice drama =D
Finish reading Eclipse finally and I really enjoyed it, so I am going to get Breaking Dawn these few days
Meanwhile I don't mind if people recommend a few good books for me to read
Went Aunt's house today with family because Siqi wanted to borrow some stuff from aunt
Have dinner there also and I got a scarf which is all the way from Japan
and guess what, it matches my prom dress exactly
As for bag, Cai juan and Keiko bought me one for my birthday and it is the perfect timing to use it
was watching Prince of Egypt just now because I was suddenly reminded of the 'burning bushes'
after attending Word For Life class, I must say that really get to understand this movie in a different perspective
also, I get to know the Vjc lifegroup better
*omg, I found some peeps who like " You're beautiful" as much or even more than me

well, i actually have the guitar score for this song
but I am too lousy to play it. lol.

It was the official end of my suffering which seems to start long ago. It was definitely a relief for me personally; it’s the time when there is no more studying after service or mugging at the library. I went out shopping for prom stuffs which a bunch of girls from Vivo city to Far East Plaza, and then to Wisma and Ion orchard. So basically, it was a tiring day filled with laughter (when we laughed at each other on the prom dresses) and joy (When Pohee and I tried to control Sheryl’s diet). I was dead beat when I reached home, I came home empty handed.

4 DEC 2009
As usual, I woke up late. So, I was really running late meeting with Pohee and Yvonne to get hunt for our prom dresses. I spend the earlier part of the day working out at the Tampines gym to burn out at least 100 calories (Which is so pathetic!) After that, we have a healthy lunch at subway before heading out to Paya Lebar. (The meal was freaking ‘healthy’!) Seriously, don’t judge a book by its cover, looks can be so deceiving. I bought my black prom dress at city plaza! No madness! I’m astonished by the wide range of clothes it offer, in addition with reasonable price. After that, we went to look for the legendary Haji Lane near Arab Street. The stuff sold at Haji Lane is pretty interesting and some with interesting concepts. It’s definitely a good place to shop! Surprisingly, we went to a hawker centre opposite the OG at Waterloo Street to have our dinner. A totally nice place with lots of good food at cheap prices! So, I guess it’s not just the posh restaurants which only offer tasty food. I accompanied the 2 of them to shop around Bugis Street to hunt for their prom shoes, before all of us agreed to call it a day and leave for home.

5 DEC 2009
To my amazement, I only woke up 1 hour later than the original time. But, I was still late. Crap. Anyway, I have a nice conservation with Qin while I was on my way to Somerset for service. It kinds of elevate my ‘not so good’ mood a little. Skipping the part about the service and the celebration for Raphael, I have dinner with the life group along with VJC at Plaza Singapura. The guy who called me a ‘care bear’ was telling us about Jay Chou appearance at P.S, so our entire group especially the girls rushed there. Unfortunately, Jay Chou appearance is like 2 more weeks away. Crap. After that was the best part, ‘LAN’. Left 4 Dead 2 was awesome and I totally love it with the new weapons and maps. I can’t imagine myself killing the undead using an electric guitar, it’s like ‘WHAT THE HECK!’ The game was totally cool and fun, I vow to play another time. Yup. Before all of us headed home, we went to eat at the Rochor Road Soya Bean store. Finally I have my soya bean milk and my ‘you tiao’. Oh my, it’s heavenly. It’s fun. I enjoyed it a lot when it distract me from the reality.

went for Word For Life class and I must say that the teachings are like wow

it just hit me with a boom

went out for shopping with 5 cuties out of the six

finally bought a black dress which I fall in love with when i saw it
I was thinking of borrowing things from my aunt if I really cannot find any heels and bag that is ok my liking

Today went for shepherding then caregroup to celebrate Shee Ting, shepherd birthday

It’s not just if my life is so call ‘purpose driven’ or whatever shit out there. But I’m glad that I did spend my time wisely today doing something meaningful rather than just wasting my life away like any other days.
I have a long train ride this early afternoon from Simei all the way to Queenstown, for an appointment with my doctor at AH. I do suffer a bit of motion sickness frequently these days, such that I tried to distract myself throughout the ride with my ear piece plug-in along with the twilight series novel. Surprisingly, I felt worse after that and almost puked when I got off. I don’t really enjoying reading before as I always felt that books are simply a waste of time. But recently after my dad bought the ‘eclipse’ for me and sis, I kind of get addicted to reading. Perhaps it’s not just reading itself, but just the ‘twilight’ series.
After that, I have shepherding at night within Tampines before I end my day officially. So, I’m kind of glad that my life is not wasted.
Until moment ago, I realized that how pathetic I am to be still studying on my biology while other students are like celebrating the end of the ‘A’ level. What the shit! I’m so envy, really.
