yesterday was the first time of this year to attend a church service at nexus. initiately, i was quite worried because i do not usually like to go to places which are filled with tons and tons of people. i do not really feel comfortable about it. but everything turns out to be better than i have imagined. me and siqin were late yesterday, supposing to meet her friends at 2.15pm, but i was unprepared to go out yet. fortunately by the time we arrived, the service has not started yet. phew...that was close. i saw lots of unfamiliar faces who were used to be in TPJC and those who are in there now. the service was quite fun and enjoyable, especially when i heard several of by favourite worship songs. that was really nice! we have our dinner at the meridian, which i went before last year. things turn out different what from i have experienced, and that was cool. we then have the harvester meeting at one of the rooms, i think is the 'america' room? anyway, we have the first harvester meeting there, really worth to go! the games we played were fun and entertaining, where i was given the opportunity to know more people, they were really nice people. we were introduced to this 'Die-Hard' operation where we aimed to get more people to join y-hope. TPJC aimed to have 30. wow! that is really a lot! i cannot wait to get more people to y-hope and forced the students councillor to close down! opps! i mean no harm, no offence! after yesterday at nexus, i really feel different. i used to question about God, why God did not help me in my difficult times? but thinking through quite a lot, i see that the reason. like what i used to pray for more faith, guess what? did i gained more faith? NO! but, what i was given was the opportunity to develop my faith ion God. this may sound very familiar right? it was also mention in the movie ' Evan Almighty'. exactly, the same theory applies. i am not only looking forward to school, but also my first prayer meet in TPJC! no idea how will it be like?
