I was introduced to this video last friday during Sociology lecture,
After the video, i realised one of my classmates cried. That puzzled me a lot because it's already a reality that hunger and starvation issues exist in this world, and that there is nothing we can do practically now as a student. My take home message was like 'try not to waste food'? But i was really wrong about it! I got to know that one of the reason she cried was because even though the poors are feeding on the left-overs, they still thank their God for it. Wow isn't it?
It simply reminds me about being appreciative with the things i am enjoying now i.e clean water, edible food etc. When was the last time i sincerely thank God for the food, and not say grace because it's like a habit to say it before meal? I can't really remember. So, i guess it's time to change.
