The entire of today is much a torturing one for me. After hearing terrible news in the early morning, I couldn’t help but feeling very upset over it. I know that I should just get over with it and continue to move on with life, but I just lack the courage to accept defeat this time round. This is really the first time I’m feeling this way, and it really feels terrible. My first thought after hearing the bad news was to withdraw from all secular activities other than my academic. But I was reminded about the Bible character Abraham, a man with great faith in God. I recalled how Abraham was a loyal and obedience servant of God, and how he was willing to sacrifice his son just because God wanted him to. I believe as what Pastor Jeff has said last Saturday that God is putting me into a test, and God is with me. God must have allowed it to happen for a great purpose. Maybe I cannot see the bigger picture right now, but God would surely know what is best for me.
